April was a busy month for the Bible School and Confirmation classes with regular classes and some special projects.
On April 16th, we partnered with the Baileys Harbor Business Association and stuffed the eggs for the Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt. It was a great community service project for all of us to participate in. April 30th was a special week dedicated to our mom’s. The kids will be able to share their special gifts with them on Mother’s Day.
It’s hard to believe the school year is almost over and we are winding down another year of Bible School. May 7th we will be
prepping for the worship service on May 11th when the children lead us in worship that day. May 14th is our Annual End of Year Party at the Egg Harbor Fun Park, sponsored by Mark and Tami. It’s a great way to celebrate another year together! May 18th, we will be celebrating Confirmation.
A special thank you to all of our volunteers this year who helped teach, provided snacks, helped with the Christmas program,
and assisted with craft projects and special events. It takes a lot of hands to make a program successful and I am thankful to have been surrounded by so many. Please continue to watch for updates throughout the summer for the upcoming school year.
April has been a meaningful and busy month for our Confirmation class. As Easter reminded us of the hope and promise we have in Christ, our students have been diving deeper into the heart of the Gospel through the parables of Jesus and the Easter story.
With May 18 quickly approaching, we’re preparing for a very special milestone—the Confirmation of our one student, Calvin
Schwab! He’s thoughtfully crafting his personal faith statement, selecting a meaningful Bible verse, and choosing hymns that
reflect his journey and commitment to Christ. Please keep him in your prayers as he takes these important steps in faith. We
look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion with our church family next month!
